7th grader, Brock Magaha, for Raven of the Month!

Mrs. Rix and Mrs. Schramp shared their appreciation of Brock's attentiveness and respect in their classrooms. Mrs. Hirl also applauds Brock's efforts to get his classmates to choose to do the right thing: "He is able to keep his group on task during group activities in class. He shows self-control and discipline in all situations. He leads by example, rarely yelling or scolding others for talking out in line.... He works hard and is a good friend to all."

We are proud to announce our December Raven of the Month: 8th grader Ben Salzmann! Teachers and staff overwhelming share their love for Ben. Mrs. Hirl recognized Ben's resiliency, pointing out how he continues to work hard in challenging classes. Mrs. Cordell also enthusiastically shared how proud of how he has grown over the years, "He always tries to put his best foot forward, has a positive attitude, and he is just a good person. Even at times when he is not making good choices he shows remorse, is open to feedback and tries to do better." Congratulations, Ben!
